Now as far as the DD coffee goes, it's tops. The coffee brews nicely & has a very good kick to it caffeine-wise. The only bad part. I was a bit skeptical, but he was right. As of this posting, the price is twice what I'd be paying in the store for one bag. I do prefer this to Starbucks- the flavor is richer & it's also far cheaper per bag. A friend of mine turned me onto this coffee, saying that it was better than Starbucks coffee. I've tried both this roast & the darker roasts, but prefer the medium roast because I prefer a more mellow taste.
(I could get this size bag for a little over $ 12 at my local Wal-mart where a smaller bag of Starbucks sells for around $10. I will admit that there are some Starbucks that I'll still pay $ 10 for). The price. I still do recommend this to everyone, though- just look to see if you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
I'm gonna review the product and give a good rating, yes this is overpriced, you should consider a coffee subscription with dunkin donuts, to save. This is the best coffee, and it doesn't taste like that burnt crap from starbucks they call coffee. the closest generic taste to the dunkin donuts coffee was folgers original blend, and it comes in a solid second place over my dunkin donuts :)
I can pick up the exact same 40 oz. I'm sure prices will vary depending on your location, but I'm fairly sure you can get this coffee cheaper just about everywhere else. This price is pretty outrageous. package at a wholesale club for $17.22. Yes, I have to pay a membership fee there, but 4 packages of coffee and the savings have already paid it off.
I love dunkin donuts coffee, and it's all we brew at home, however, this is a rip off. If you go into any dunkin donuts, you can get two, one pound bags (32Oz total) for $11.99. (A side note, if you get one bag of regular, and one bag of hazelnut, and mix them together, you get great coffee without the overpowering hazelnut flavor).
